Founded in 2016, Cognition Kit is a joint venture between Ctrl Group and Cambridge Cognition. It came about as both companies understood the value of an accurate picture of cognition for researchers and care teams. We saw the opportunity to marry up the cognitive and data scientists from Cambridge Cognition with the user centered development approach from Ctrl Group. The goal: create ways to assess cognition using people’s own mobile and wearable technology. We’ve already developed and validated an assessment of attention and working memory (N-Back). It’s in use in both the EU and US, by researchers and health care providers. We’re continuing our research and development to build out and validate further tests to assess Psychomotor speed and Working Memory (PWM) and Hippocampal dependent Episodic Memory (HEM).
